The WMT Agile bundles up to 8 mobile network channels (LTE, HSPA+, HSUPA,HSDPA and UMTS) of one or multiple operators into a single broadband channel to provide sufficient upload capacity for video and other high volume data.

WMT Agile is our latest model which bonds up to 10 mobile and IP connections for the distribution of high quality live video and data. This low weight backpack system includes cutting-edge features, such as: Touchscreen with preview, a state-of -the art web management system, automatic adjustment of video resolutions and delay, an extendable antenna, recording and storage capabilities on the system and Store & Forward of pre-recorded files.
The upload capacity of the WMT™ ranges between 500 kbps and 5 Mbps.
The use of multiple networks guarantees the highest bandwidth, the best possible network coverage and offers a redundant solution.
Delay can be fixed on 2, 5 or 10 seconds.This will remain the end-to end delay during the complete broadcast. This is what we consider ‘fixed delay time’. IFB or return audio is also available at less than a second delay.
The video is encoded with our own H264 codec, which will automatically determine the available bandwidth and continuously transmits on the highest available bandwidth. This ensures transmission of the best possible video quality with the shortest possible fixed delay time.
Continuous Picture Technology (CPT)
Together with the BBC, Mobile Viewpoint developed Continuous Picture Technology (CPT). This technology is used during the 2012 Summer Olympics for the Olympic Torch Relay and ensures an even steadier connection utilizing a delay between 15 and 120 seconds. Store & Forward
In the WMT Agile a harddisk of 40G is implemented where pre-recorded files can be stored on and sent over later via FTP directly from the WMT device.
The WMT Playout is a complimentary equipment which receives the WMT feed throught the internet. It connects to the internet with just a single Ethernet connection. When the correct ports are forwarded in the firewall the signals of a WMT™ will come in and be multiplexed into 1 video signal. This video signal will exit the WMT™ Playout through a SDI video connection with embedded audio.
